MIS Specialist

Responsibilities:

  • General maintenance and monitoring to ensure the well-functioning of the core banking system.
  • Create new branches, products, features, and modules in core banking on request.
  • Perform upgrades, new features and/or product tests, and apply fixes/patches.
  • Conduct and support the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrading, and support of organizational IT systems and infrastructures.
    Develop and maintenance of in-house applications/API.
  • Develop reports for management and business requirements.
  • Provide support, upgrade tools, and systems or resolve issues across the branches through a series of actions, face-to-face or over the phone or traveling as needed. 
  • Identify, analyze and report occurred and potential user and/or system problems as well as coordinate with software vendors for solutions.
  • Ensure user’s security is maintained and role access is well-managed.
  • Conduct system maintenance and periodic review of parameters/functions.
  • Support end-users to ensure a safe and secure user data and core banking database.
  • Respond in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
  • Assist in ensuring that employees are well-understood to IT policy and procedure. 
  • Keep up to date with the most recent technologies and suggest on new technological solutions to support business growth.
  • Other MIS-related tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology and computer science or related fields.
  • At least three years experience in MIS, system development, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of Javascript,C#,Java, PHP, ASP.Net, HTML, jQuery, and CSS.
  • Knowledge and experience in database management systems such as SQL Server, MySQL, and Windows Server.
  • Experience in developing MIS reports is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of using API and development of API/Web Service for external system integration is an advantage.
  • Previous banking experience in the core banking system is an advantage.
  • Good at support and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner and able to learn.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
